Through the generosity of our community ,Sands Secondary is able to offer a number of scholarships to our student. Students complete an application form and submit it to the scholarship committee for review. These scholarships are available in April each year. A list of all the Sands Scholarships will be posted in the Career Centre for students to review individual criteria.
Each post-secondary institution offers entrance scholarship opportunities. These are funds to attract students to a particular college or university. Sometimes these scholarships are offered automatically based on high school grades and sometimes additional application forms, resumes and reference letters are required. Any scholarship offer is contingent on accepting the offer of admission for that institution.
