They are offering free virtual career workshops for Indigenous participants to learn how to find work in a virtual world. These workshops are designed for Indigenous youth (aged 15-30) but anyone can join!

Indigenous students & those interested in higher education, your perspectives are valued in supporting community health and wellness partnerships! Engage with us as part of a collaborative initiative at the Centre for Excellence for Indigenous Health and the Human Early Learning Partnership to understand student and prospective student experiences and hopes for moving forward in a better way. UBC Summer Science is a one- week cultural, health and science program for Indigenous students going into grade 9-12. The program promotes interest in health and science programs through first hand learning at UBC. The Summer Science program is a great way to meet new friends, connect with Elders/Role models, while enjoying laughter, learning and culture!

The Society offers Indigenous Award programs for students pursuing post-secondary education in BC. They are available to students who identify as Indigenous – First Nations (Status or Non-Status), Métis or Inuit. All are renewable in order to provide sustained funding over multiple years. Indigenous Student Awards: $1000-$5000 (renewable annually) for students pursuing trades training, apprenticeship, diploma, certificates, degree or post-degree programs. Application Deadline: April 4, 2024 AM I ELIGIBLE? Turtle Spirit Pathway Award: Assists First Nations, Métis, and Inuit students entering the U of A without having completed any post-secondary coursework. Up to 20 new students will qualify for up to $8,000 per year.
