What to include in a portfolio?
- Choose 10-15 pieces to share
- These could include finished work, work in progress, sketchbook ideas etc…
- Our goal is to get a sense of your skills and the way you think
- It is often more valuable for our team to get a sense of how you arrived at a certain ‘finished’ idea, show us your process and “mistakes”, even if your project didn't work out
- Before the virtual session, practice explaining how you develop your ideas, articulating where you want to go with those ideas, and sharing the process of arriving at the completed work
These reps are there for you to ask questions about their programs, and most importantly, get feedback on how to improve your portfolio so it will be a successful part of your application. And this year, you won’t have to stand in long in-person line-ups!
