Michelle Wilband (Faculty member in the Foundation Year Program) and FYP writing coach Mark Burke will be hosting the online workshop on November 29 at 4 p.m. AST. University of King's College is excited to share two new events that the University of King’s College will be hosting for students this fall. The first ever King’s Essay Writing Contest is open to grade 12 students. The topic is what makes a book a classic? We invite students to respond to this question using one text of their choice (a novel, play, graphic novel, poem, etc.) The winner will receive a gift card to the King’s Co-op Bookstore valued at the price of all the books students will need for their first year of university at King’s, and the winning essay will be published on the King’s website. The deadline is December 14. Students can find more details on our website.
